Is this ownership change for the better?

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
I agree that the previous owner of Quest Fantasy Football league was difficult to deal with at times. I was optimistic that the league would be run better under new ownership this year. I'd read a lot of positive things about Scott Fish, who was named the new league co-commissioner. It took awhile to obtain last years winnings, which was blamed on the documentation by the previous owner (which is believable). After that was resolved, we had to provide documentation if we'd already paid for a league this year. While a nuisance, I thought that was handled professionally too. I wasn't a big fan of the rule changes that were implemented without any input from the league contestants. A new dictatorship has arrived? One of my favorite parts of this fantasy football league is that the first 2 rounds of the rookie/free agent drafts take place in May. That was a wonderful early start to the fantasy football league, which I enjoy tremendously. However, the new Quest ownership has made little effort to sell the orphaned teams. They advised that they're not going to discount the entry fees because it would hurt league profitability. Instead, they changed the rules (after most contestants had paid their entry fees) to postpone drafts if leagues weren't filled by the scheduled draft date. That has been a very disappointing start to the start of the Quest Fantasy Football leagues in 2019.

Horrific Experience

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The Owner/Manager/Commissioner Matt Dougherty is very unprofessional. If you try and speak with him about an issue he becomes very immature and threatens to lock you out and keep your money. No refunds. He says he will sell your team whenever, and for what ever he wants. Changes your un-offensive team name if he disagrees with it, and gives you 10 hours to draft but threatens to lock you team with no refunds if he disagrees with your time. Basically a bully and fraudulent business owner. Do yourself a favor and choose another service unless you enjoy being bullied and ripped off. Quest Fantasy Leagues turned something I enjoy very much into a horrific experience.

*** asks for a refund halfway through the draft because it’s taking too long, threatens to hijack the draft, and then demands a refund. Bully

I have a team with Quest. I just found out 2 weeks ago that Quest was sold it is January 20.

I never received any email saying the league was sold. The former owners were totally unqualified to run leagues. I want to know about the money issues. Why are there leagues that are in a private financial institution and other monies in league safe?

Quest said 300 leagues were in league safe and 22 were in the private financial firm. Why is the money still in that private firm? It should be in leaguesafe. They still havent paid out the winners.

What is the new owner doing and what is all the talk about having to switch everything manually to league safe? when you join league safe they have your info so if Quest fantasy says they have 300 leagues in league safe what is the hold up its already done. Why is this just being done now? they've had months.

I have sent emails asking who the new owners are and what their qualifications as a league manager are. How long has this person been in fantasy and does he know what hes doing, so far it doesnt look that way. No one should be making any 2019 and or 2020 league due payments until. everything is settled and explained.

Why werent league notices sent directly to the leagupages notifying us , Quest was sold.

Something isnt right . Owners should stop paying.

Commissioner is Clueless

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
The commissioner who took over these leagues a few years ago has quickly ruined the league by making rule changes that make no sense, allow trades that do not help the league as a whole and then when you question anything he does he threatens to kick you out of the league with no refunds. If you plan to play Fantasy Football and are looking for a league to join this is not the place to find fair play and a commissioner who has a clue what they are doing. Do not buy into one of the Orphan Teams there is a reason they are Orphaned most likely because the former owner got tired of the stupid rules and couldn't do anything to improve their team due to these rules. The commissioner will actually remove your post from the site if he disagrees with whatever you are asking.

Quest Fantasy Football Leagues - Trade-in Review from Reno, Nevada

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
Quest leagues are BS, the comissioner will veto trades for no reason. 2 yrs ago i tried to trade T. Richardson for D.Jackson in week 2-3, right beforeche got traded to Indy. I happen to had liked what Jacjdon was doing in Philly and T. Richardson wasnt doing anything. My trade was vetoed because it was "unfair". Richardson was too good to be trafed for Jackson. Obviously, i was proven correct and that trade would have helped me tremendously. If you cant nake an educated risk/reward trade, then i will never use them again. I had numerous trades vetoed. The commish on the sight SUCK!!!!!?

Quest Fantasy Football Leagues - Quest Fantasy Football
This is a fantasy league football site, and I have been a part of it for the better part of 9 years, and I have never had a problem. Matt Dougherty took over the league, and that's changed. Customer service is poor, and the commissioner (Matt) has baited me on multiple occasions to renew leagues during the process of a trade only to let the trade fall through after payment was made. The team’s competitiveness hinges on the trade. The other team doesn’t get penalized, but my money is gone and I don’t get the trade. When I complain about it, Matt states if I complain I will be locked out. He locked me out of my leagues anyway, and I tried to make another trade in another league, and after he stated there was no refunds, he told my trade partner he refunded my money and the trade was cancelled. My money had not been refunded at that time. I have yet to receive any payment, and I have received no compensation for losing a team I have spent 8 years building. At one point I made a payment, and he stated in an email that I, in fact did not make a payment. I had the transaction record in hand and sent it back to him in the email. I paid close to $1000 for my leagues and he has barred me from making changes to my teams rendering them useless. I lost all the money and time over the years I spent building those teams simply because of Mr. Dougherty's pride.

Commissioner appears to have integrity issues

I purchased a team. It was a very good team that won its league. It is a keeper team with sven keepers allowed. The team has many of the same players that I have on another team in a different league. This was my first time on this site, so after placing the team in my cart for purchase, I spend over an hour trying to ensure that I was purchasing the team for 2016 & 2017. I was in another browser, and I tried to add the team to my cart, but it listed team as not available. I removed the team from my cart in the other browser, and the team then became available again. I successfully purchased the team I wanted. The next morning the commissioner notified me that the team was purchased shortly before my purchase, and was no longer available. Since this is managed by an automated software application, it appears that the commissioner overrode my purchase either for himself or for an associate. In my opinion this brings the integrity of the entire organization into question. There are cash awards. What other interference is this commissioner involved with. Does he have privy to waiver wire request? I like the format of the Quest FF League, but I question investing into what appears to be a corrupt system.

Completely agree...The commissioner of these leagues has no clue what they are doing and when you question them they threaten to throw you out of the league with no refund.

I have played in Quest Leagues for many years and simply can't say enough good things about it. I have discontinued all my other league sites and now have all my fantasy teams in Quest Leagues. I am sure whatever issue you had was a total accident.

This owner was given a full refund and additional discount on additional teams for the error and inconvenience. Individual is now owner of multiple teams at the site.
